Famous Taiwan beef noodle chain has been recycling leftovers

KAOHSIUNG - Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that a store belonging to a famous beef noodle chain in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, had been recycling leftover food by serving this as a new dish to customers.

The incident was uncovered when a former employee, who had been dismissed, revealed to the media a footage showing the act in the kitchen.

In the clip, the store's owner and her workers are clearly seen taking leftover beef cubes from the soiled plates and re-cooking them.

Other leftover vegetable dishes and soups were also collected.

The issue has irked many customers, especially regulars.
