SHAH ALAM: A foreign worker at a popular theme park here allegedly unzipped the swimsuit of a 7-year-old girl and held on to her shoulders.
The girl's mother, who only wished to be known as Ani, said the incident happened about 4pm on Friday while her daughter was on a water slide.
She lodged a police report.
Ani said she was not aware of the incident until another visitor at the theme park started shouting.
"I rushed to the place and was told of the incident by the witness. However, the worker denied the charges, saying he was only trying save my daughter from falling off the slide."
Ani said she then spoke to a park executive.
"He apologised and prom-ised to investigate.
"He offered us discount vouchers and a holiday provided we did not lodge a police report."
She said a manager at the theme park told her and her husband to wait until yesterday as he needed time to investigate.
Ani said the manager then called and said the worker did not try to unzip her daughter's swimsuit and that he was only trying to stop her from falling off the slide as she was trying to do stunts on it.
