KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: A man, who had been purportedly harassing and blackmailing his former girlfriend for sex, has been arrested.

City CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Ku Chin Wah said the man in his 30s was arrested in the city on Thursday evening and has been remanded.

The man had allegedly harassed and blackmailed his former girlfriend Liew Mei Ling, 24, into having sex with him after they broke up in July last year.

She claimed he said he had a video recording of them performing various sexual acts.
