A two-year-old girl was robbed of her gold jewellery outside a clothes shop while her mother was browsing inside.

The incident took place on Saturday at 1 pm at Block 106 in Yishun Ring Road near Block 106.

The girl's mother was unaware of the robbery until the toddler came into the shop to tell her that a dark-skinned man had approached her and taken her gold chain worth $600, and a gold bracelet which cost $300.

The police advise parents to keep an eye on their children and also not to let them wear a lot of valuables.
