Man jailed 3 weeks for giving false info to police
Fri, Jan 11, 2008
The Straits Times
>A MAN was jailed for three weeks on Friday for giving false information to the police that his younger sister had been assaulted by her then boyfriend.

Investigations showed that it was Dominic Ng Keng Kien, 34, who had slapped his 25-year-old sister after a heated argument on June 29, 2005.

But to cover up and pre-empt any complaints by her, he lied to the police the next day that it was the sister's then boyfriend who had hit her on the head and stomach.
