MALAYSIA - A YOUTH died at the Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM) in Kota Baru on Friday after being beaten on Thursday by several men who believed that he had stolen some stuff from his former workplace, Metro Ahad reported.

District police chief Asst Commissioner Zahruddin Abdullah said the 19-year-old victim had gone out with two of the men, including his former employer.

The men were not happy with the teenager as they suspected that he had stolen the things when he was working there.

An argument followed and the men beat up the victim.

The victim, from Kampung Landak, was rushed to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II before being transferred to HUSM.
