Fri, Mar 14, 2008
The Straits Times

A RESTAURANT was broken into in River Valley Road on Tuesday morning.

The restaurant manager in his mid-30s had secured and left the place at about 3am. When he returned later at 11.35am, he found the front entrance's wooden door forced open.

Cash of $600 was missing from the cash register. Although CCTV cameras were installed, they were not working.

Police advise the public to install security measures and also have it serviced to ensure that they function effectively.
