Tue, Apr 22, 2008
The Straits Times

A MAN collapsed at Raffles Place MRT Station and another man rushed forward to help.

They distracted a Pakistani in his mid-40s, who had $9,000 worth of Thai baht stolen from him by a third man. All three then fled down the escalator and went their separate ways.

The incident took place on Monday at 1.30pm. The victim, in his mid-40s, had earlier gone to Collyer Quay to change his currency.

The thieves are fair in complexion, and were wearing white T-shirts.

The police urge anybody with information to contact them at 1800-255-0000.
