$9,200 worth of valuables stolen in break-in

A WOMAN staying at Block 221 Jurong East St 21 returned home at 5.15pm on Monday to discover her house broken into and $9,200 worth of items stolen.

The woman in her late 20s had left for work at 8am that day, after locking her doors and window grilles.

She came back to find her window ledge damaged and her jewellery, handphone, and digital camera gone.

The ledge was facing the common corridor.
