AN HIV-infected man on Wednesday admitted to having oral sex with a 16-year-old boy without telling him of the risk of contracting the infection.

Chan Mun Chiong, 43, faces a fine of up to $10,000 or a jail term which may extend to two years or both for the offence.

He was hauled to court on a Ministry of Health summons.

The bespectacled man, who has short spiky hair and was dressed in a blue and beige striped shirt and pants, will be sentenced on Wednesday afternoon.
