BENTONG, MALAYSIA: A 26-year-old contractor accused of raping a schoolgirl was beaten up outside his Batu Satu home on Saturday. His 24-year-old wife was also assaulted when she rushed to his aid.

The man, his wife and their year-old son were watching television when he received a telephone call asking for directions to his home. He went outside to wait for the caller.

Minutes later, three men in a car pulled up, jumped out of the car and began beating him up.

Hearing his screams, his wife rushed out and was beaten as well.

One of the three asked the man whether he had raped a schoolgirl. Fearing for his wife's safety, he said yes.
Police arrived within minutes and arrested the three men.
