Man wanted for murder found dead at foot of block

A 60-YEAR-OLD man, who was wanted for the murder of a woman dishwasher at Causeway Point last Sunday, was found dead at the foot of Block 660, Jalan Tenaga, on Tuesday night.

He was pronounced dead by paramedics at about 9.10 pm.

Police was looking for the Chinese man in connection with the murder of Ms Khoo Quee Kee, 45, who was said to be the former's tenant.

The man had brutally attacked and stabbed her to death with a 15cm-long knife, while she was at work at the Causeway Point foodcourt on Sunday morning, as her shocked colleague and friend watched in horror.

The man then left the scene and the knife was later found in a rubbish bin on the sixth floor of the Woodlands mall, a floor above the foodcourt.

For six months, Ms Khoo had rented a room in his home in Yio Chu Kang where he lived with his mother. A divorcee, she had an eight-year-old son who lived with her older sister.
