The Straits Times

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl had her mobile phone snatched from her at the ground floor lift lobby of Block 332 Tah Ching Road in Jurong on Monday.

She had been waiting for the lift at about 4.15pm when a man approached her from behind as the lift door was about to open.

He then snatched her mobile phone worth about $300 from her and fled in the direction of Kang Ching Road.

The man is described as being fair-complexioned, between 1.6m and 1.7m tall and sporting a crew cut hairstyle. He was wearing a blue shirt, grey bermuda shorts and a pair of slippers.

Anyone with information can call the police hotline at 1800-255-0000.
