The Straits Times

A SALESMAN who kept a supply of drugs and an assortment of weapons in his flat was arrested by Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) on Thursday.

Seized from the 38-year-old suspected drug trafficker were 18 grams of 'Ice', 15 'Erimin-5' tablets and other amounts of drugs, and weapons including swords and knives.

CNB mounted an operation following a tip-off that a drug trafficker had just received some supplies of 'Ice'.

At about 11.50 pm, CNB officers got the man after he alighted from his Nissan Sunny along Dunlop Street, and found out that he was renting an apartment in Geylang Lorong 6.

In a search of the flat, CNB officers seized the 'Ice', 'Erimin-5' tablets and small amounts of other drugs hidden in various places in the suspect's bedroom. They also found eight offensive weapons consisting of swords and knives, as well as a baton.
