BAGAN SERAI, MALAYSIA - A factory worker allegedly took turns raping his daughter and mother-in-law at their house in Changkat Lobak here on several occasions.

The two victims lodged separate police reports at the Kerian police station last week.

A 47-year-old suspect was arrested at a factory in Kamunting here yesterday.

Kerian district police chief Superintendent Mat Fauzi Nayan said the man had threatened and raped his 18-year-old daughter several times since she was 12.

The 62-year-old mother-in-law said the suspect had raped her several times since March.

Mat Fauzi said the victims were sent to the Taiping Hospital for medical examinations.

The suspect has had previous convictions for sexual offences. He was released from Taiping prison in December last year.

His wife died a few months ago.
