Woman slapped, robbed at Woodlands

A woman in her late 60s was robbed of $1,000 worth of valuables on Thursday.

She was taking the lift at Bock, 682D Woodlands Drive 73, with her two-year-old grandson, when a man in the lift slapped her .

He then grabbed her gold chain and pendant, crystal and gold bracelet, and her sling bag containing $155 cash and a $250 handphone. He got out of the lift on the fifth floor and fled down the stairs.

The robber was described as a short-haired man in his late 30s, with a tanned complexion and slim build. He was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and dark blue pants.
