$38,000 in valuables stolen from Bukit Purmei flat

A flat in Block 107, Bukit Purmei Road was broken into on Tuesday, while the occupants were out and valuables worth some $38,000 were stolen.

A man in his late 30s reported to police that he had secured his flat at 1.45pm on Tuesday and returned at 8pm to find it broken into.

The aluminum grille of his bedroom window had been cut, and a stool was left under the window.

Missing were $38,000 worth of watches, jewellery, a gold bar, and cash, some of which were locked in a safe.
