The Straits Times

A manager was on his way home when he was knocked unconscious by a blow to the back of his head near Block 131, Pasir Ris Street 11 early on Saturday morning.

When the man in his 50s came to, he found some $700 in cash and two mobile phones worth $400 each stolen from him.

In another theft, a woman in her late 40s left her handbag in her car at Mount Faber Loop for an hour last Sunday evening and returned to find her driver-side window smashed with a rock, which was found inside the car.

The handbag, which contained about $2,600 in cash, a mobile phone worth $100 and personal documents, was gone.
