Thu, Jul 31, 2008
The Straits Times

Two homes were broken into in the last two days.

In the first break-in, a man in his mid-30s went to bed without securing his ground floor apartment's kitchen door and windows.

He woke up on Monday morning to find his laptop worth almost $2,000 and a watch valued at $1,000 missing.

In the other incident, several items including a bag, a laptop, ring and watch worth almost $6,400 were stolen from a house on Sunset Way after it was broken into between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The owner, in his early 40s, woke up to find his backdoor forced open and ground floor ransacked.

Anybody with information can contact Police at 1800-255-0000.
