In the first case, a woman in her early 20s was sitting at the void deck of Block 256 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4, when she felt someone snatching her gold necklace with pendant worth about $2,000 at about 7.15 pm.

The second incident took place at Block 1, Maude Road.

The victim, a woman in her early 40s, was waiting for the lift, and when the lift doors opened, a man from behind pushed her into it. He then snatched her wallet and cellphone and fled towards King George's Avenue.
