A 62-year-old man, who was on his way home after supper last Saturday, was assaulted while he was taking a rest at a stone table at Block 140, Bishan Street 12.

The victim described the assailants as tanned, well-built with short hair and about 1.5m tall.

In the other robbery on Saturday morning, a 26-year-old man was crossing the linkway from Block 534, Bedok North Street 3, when he he was threatened by two men with penknives. They demanded he hand over his pouch.
