THE middleman in the first kidney-for-sale case here intends to plead guilty on Friday.

Wang Chin Sing is expected to admit to five charges as part of a deal struck with the prosecution, his lawyer Shashi Nathan told reporters after meeting prosecutors before a district judge on Tuesday.

Wang, 44, faces 10 charges relating to his alleged role in the attempted kidney transplant for C.K. Tang's executive chairman Tang Wee Sung.
