By Selina Lum

FORMER general manager of cellphone company Nokia, Kitty Fong Kit Sum, was on Friday ordered by the High Court to pay a penalty of about $26,000 for three corruption charges.

This was a reversal of an earlier ruling by a district court which had decided that she need not pay a penalty.

Fong, 47, was convicted last year of receiving bribes from then-chief executive of mobile phone repairer Accord Customer Care Solutions (ACCS) Victor Tan.
