Man charged with murder

AT ABOUT 9am this morning, Chinese national Wang ZhiJian was charged with the murder of one of three women killed in Yishun's triple murder on Friday.

If convicted of the murder of Zhang Meng, another 42-year-old national, Wang will face the death penalty.

The only survivor of Friday's attack, a 14-year-old student, is currently still in Tan Tock Seng Hospital's intensive care unit.
