Man called Istana in bomb hoax

A MAN was charged on Thursday for allegedly making a bomb hoax call to the Prime Minister's Office at the Istana.

The court ordered Teo Mui Huat, 45, to undergo a psychiatric examination at the Institute of Mental Health.

According to court documents, Teo had called from a flat in Farrer Park Road last Thursday with this message: 'Someone is going to plant a bomb; please pay attention.'
