ONG Pang Siew accused of murdering his stepdaughter on Monday said that he did not know why he killed the teenager.

The 46-year-old private bus driver was giving his defence on a charge of murdering Ong Pan Hui, 15, the China-born daughter of his former wife, Madam Xiu Yanhong, 39, at a Marsiling flat last Oct 20.

Ong was still sitting by the body of the dead teenager when the police arrived at the scene. He was fiddling with his phone and was reeking of alcohol.
