Charged with attempted robbery

A JOBLESS man was charged in court on Tuesday with attempted robbery of $200 from a cabby.

Khoo Thiam Hock, 37, is alleged to have tried to rob Mr Tan How Leng, 58, of cash while armed with a 30cm long knife along Upper Boon Keng Road on Monday.

Khoo was remanded for further investigation.
