Bukit Batok Nature Reserve remains popular with lovers looking for privacy.
Apparently, they are not deterred by the gruesome discovery on Monday morning of the decomposed body of a woman in the park.
When Shin Min Daily News went to the scene at about 11pm the previous night, the police had removed the cordon set up the day before. The reporter found three cars and a lorry parked in the dimly-lit carpark uphill.
One of the cars had sunshades boarded against its windows, blocking out all sight of activity within the car, except for the shadowy silhouette of its two occupants within.
About 10 minutes' later, the shades were removed, revealing a couple in the black car. After tidying up, they switched on the headlights and drove off.
Meanwhile, the couples in the remaining two cars drove off quickly when they spotted the reporter and cameraman.
Corpse case under investigation
According to the police, the woman's identity has yet to be confirmed. Investigation is on-going.
Anyone who has information about the case can contact the police at 1800-2550000.
