POLICE have identified the badly-decomposed body found by passers-by more than a week ago in the bushes at Bukit Batok Nature Park.

The woman, 47-year-old Ms Choo Xue Ying, was identified through a DNA sample, after pictures of her personal items released by police failed to bring forth any next-of-kin.

It is believed that she also suffered head injuries.
