SHAH ALAM: A 29-year-old construction worker from Indonesia was found murdered at the I-City construction site in Section 7 here on Wednesday evening.

A male relative found the victim, identified only as Linda, covered with cardboard on the third floor of a car park building at 7pm. She had severe head injuries.

District police chief ACP Noor Azam Jamaluddin said police have detained the relative, in his late 20s, to assist in investigations.

The man told police that Linda, who stayed in a kongsi near here, had told him she was going to the construction site to retrieve something and never returned.

After waiting for one-and-a-half hours, he decided to search for her and found the victim lying motionless. The victim was married with a child.
