KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: Three unemployed men were detained during a drug raid in Kajang early yesterday.

An anti-narcotics team from the Kajang police headquarters seized from them eight packets of heroin, five packets of ganja, 0.5 kg of ketamine and Eramine-5 worth 150,000.

Seven cellphones, a weighing scale, a bowl, a welding machine and a mask were also recovered from the scene.

In the raid, a Nissan Sentra parked in the porch was also seized.

Police believe that besides dealing in drugs, the men were also involved in snatch-thefts and robberies.

The three suspects, aged between 26 and 31, were said to have been waiting for their customers at the double-storey house in Taman Damai Perdana.

All three have been remanded for a week.
