Thief finds no money in temple pots
Fri, Nov 07, 2008
The New Straits Times

BUTTERWORTH(Malaysia): He thought he'd found pots of money, but they turned up empty.

So a thief who broke into the Sri Mahamariamman temple on Wednesday night threw the six copper pots he'd stolen into a drain behind the temple.

The thief broke a window to get into the temple around midnight. He was checking his loot behind the temple when a priest spotted him and started shouting.

He threw the pots into the drain and took off. The police were called in and searched the area but were unable to find him.
