Charged with hurting hubby

A WOMAN was charged in a district court on Tuesday with hurting her husband with a knife.

Jirapan Choong, 39, allegedly used a 20cm-long kitchen knife to cause hurt to Mr Choong Weng Keong, 48, at their Serangoon Avenue 2 flat on May 8.

If convicted, she faces a jail term of up to seven years and a fine. She will be back in court on Nov 8. Her bail was extended.
