KEMAMAN, MALAYSIA: A 47-year-old man was killed on the spot when his car was rammed from behind by another car on Tuesday evening.

Abdul Rahman Ramli, of Kampung Tok Manis, Kelantan, died of severe chest injuries in the 5.30pm accident at Km114 Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kuantan, near Bandar Baru Kertih.

State Public Order and Traffic chief Superintendent Farid Mahmud said Rahman, who was heading to Kuantan, had stopped his car at the traffic lights when Isa Othman, 44, of Kampung Batu Muda in Kuala Lumpur, crashed his vehicle into it. Isa and his three passengers were unhurt.

Farid said Isa tested positive for drugs and had been detained for investigations.
