KUANTAN, MALAYSIA: A 20-year-old youth was charged in two Sessions Courts yesterday with committing five sexual offences against an underage girl in an empty house in January last year.

Muhaimi Zulkifli, from Felda Bukit Sagu Satu, pleaded not guilty to all the charges at both courts.

In the first court, Muhaimi was charged before judge Ahmad Zamzaini Mohd Zain with raping a 15-year-old girl between 7.05am and 7.45am on Jan 9, raping her again between 7.05am and 8am on Jan 11 and performing carnal intercourse against the order of nature between 7.05am and 7.45am on Jan 10.

Ahmad Zamzaini set bail at RM21,000 in three sureties pending mention on Jan 22.

In the second court, Muhaimi was charged before judge Jagjit Singh Bant Singh with raping the girl between 7.05am and 7.45am on Jan 12 and performing carnal intercourse against the order of nature between 7.05am and 7.30am on Jan 17.

All the offences took place in an empty house near Bukit Goh water reservoir.

Jagjit did not set any bail, saying that the bail granted by the first court was adequate.

He also fixed Jan 22 for mention.

Deputy public prosecutors Heng Yen Loo and Mahadi Abdul Jumaat prosecuted both cases respectively.
