A PRIVATE school at Block 231, Bain Street, Bras Basah Complex, lost equipment worth a total of $4,000 after it was broken into.

An employee in her early 30s secured the premises and left on Saturday afternoon. But when she returned on Monday morning, she found the front glass doors were ajar and a metal chain with padlock securing the door handles was missing.

Four computers and a projector were missing from the premises.
