A MAN who agreed to give bribes to a MediaCorp Enterprises executive to rig a lucky draw was fined a total of $16,000 on Tuesday for corruption.

Alan Leng Chih Wei, 31, who pleaded guilty to three charges, agreed to give $2,500 of Shell fuel vouchers to Teh Gim Leng, then a senior accounts manager of MediaCorp Enterprises, to choose him as the lucky draw winner of the free fuel for a year on Oct 5 last year.

But before he could give half of the prize to Teh, he was investigated by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau on Nov 7.
