KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - A couple and a family member were slashed by a robber at their home in Taman Muda, Cheras, yesterday evening.

Ong Git King, 27, was slashed in the head while his girlfriend, Lee Swee Ching, 32 and her sister, Lee Phooi Yee, were cut on their arms in the 7pm incident.

Swee Ching was alone in the house and sleeping in her room when she heard a noise in another room.

When she went to check, the robber attacked and tied her up.

Her boyfriend, an engineer, had then just returned from a convenience store and was also attacked. The robber slashed Phooi Yee who had also just returned home as he was fleeing the scene. The robber, who was wearing a full-face helmet, escaped with about RM4,000 ($1658.8).

Ampang Deputy OCPD Supt Amiruddin Jamaluddin confirmed the incident and said no arrest had been made yet.
