JOHOR BARU: A Nepalese worker, who allegedly could no longer stand the constant bullying of a workmate, slashed the latter to death at a pig farm in Ulu Tiram here.

Prem Sing Farki, 36, also from Nepal, was found dead yesterday with slash wounds on his head, while his left hand was almost severed.

The suspect, in his 20s, was found hiding in some undergrowth several kilometres from the farm.

Seri Alam OCPD Supt Roslan Zainuddin said a worker who returned to the staff quarters at 3am yesterday found Prem in a pool of blood and contacted his employer. Police recovered a bloodstained parang near the body.

"We believe Prem, who had worked at the farm for eight years, had been bullying the suspect who is of a smaller frame than the deceased, and was new to the farm," Supt Roslan said. Two other workers were also picked up. -The Star/Asia News Network
