THE suspects in the death of an 18-year-old were arrested yesterday morning.

Mr Marcus Siah Wui Siang was bludgeoned when a group of men assaulted him and two of his friends last Saturday.

He died in hospital on Wednesday morning.

Police said those responsible for the attack - four youths aged between 18 and 22 - were arrested yesterday.

Mr Siah was viewing the Chinese New Year light-up with his friends - Mr Noel Ng and Mr Ou Wen Han, both 19, and Goh Kin Seng, 15 - when they were attacked.

He was taken to Singapore General Hospital with head and leg injuries.

He slipped into a coma and died four days later.
