KUALA LUMPUR: Two adults and two children were detained by Sentul police during a drug raid that saw police seizing drugs and valuables worth more than RM270,000.

The children, aged nine and 12, were released the same day and were now under the care of a relative.

City police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Muhammad Sabtu Osman said police acting on information raided a house in Bandar Majalara Kepong at about 1pm on Saturday.

They seized one kilo of Ketamine and 1,410 Eramin 5 pills, worth RM40,000, from one of the rooms in the double-storey house.

Police also seized RM157,690 cash, a sword, a knife, and a packet of film sealer.

DCP Mohd Sabtu told a press conference here yesterday that with the arrests, they had crippled a drug syndicate supplying such drugs in the Klang Valley.

It is learnt that the 31-year-old man and his 25-year-old sister-in-law who were detained during the raid have been remanded until Saturday to assist in investigations.
