JOHOR BARU: Police have raided the house of a man believed to be the mastermind of a Russian ship racket that had cheated more than 755 people.

It is learnt that the police raided an apartment in Kg Majidee near here and recovered hundreds of job application forms. However, the suspect had moved out.

Police are looking for Chan Kok Kong (IC No: 730829-08-6075) to assist in the investigations. His last known address is No. 238-A Jalan Pasar, Teluk Intan, Perak.

In the scam, the victims said they had paid RM240 (S$100) each to an "agent" for a Russian visa.

They were promised high-paying jobs on board a Russsian ship.
