MALAYSIA - A woman who was raped twice by an African man did not lodge a police report because she was afraid and too busy with work, reported Harian Metro.

The 36-year-old who lives in an apartment at Batu 9, Cheras, had advertised on the Internet that a room was available for rent and the suspect moved in in December last year.

The victim alleged that she was raped on Feb 21 when she was at home with the suspect, and it happened again two days later.

A police source said she refused to make a police report because she was afraid that she would be raped yet again.

The man moved out of the house in early March without his belongings.

She lodged a police report last Wednesday that she was raped and threatened after she started receiving calls from a woman saying she would kill her and her child.

When police asked the victim why she waited to make the report, she not only replied that she was afraid but because there was just too much work in the office that had kept her busy. -The Star/ANN
