THREE teenagers, aged between 14 and 17, were arrested on Tuesday for suspected involvement in a series of motorcycle thefts in the Teban Gardens area.

Police said officers from Clementi Police Division conducted ambushes at various locations to apprehend the suspects.

On Tuesday, shortly after 7.30am, police officers spotted one of the youths riding a motorcycle along Jurong East
Street 21.

It turned out that the bike had earlier been reported stolen from a carpark in the Teban Gardens area on Sunday.

Officers sprung into action and detained the 17-year-old suspect, recovering the stolen motorcycle in the process.

The other two youths were nabbed the same day at their homes in Yishun and Jurong East.
