ALOR STAR, MALAYSIA - Police yesterday arrested a man in connection with Monday's murder of another man who had been placed under restricted residence.

The man is believed to be one of four gunmen involved in the shooting of S. Durai Raja, 38, near Kampung Seberang Ayer Hitam.

Deputy state police chief Datuk Azri Yusof said the man was arrested near the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex in Padang Besar at 11am.

However, he declined to elaborate as investigations were ongoing.
