TWO of the five men charged on Thursday with providing false statements to the Ministry of Manpower told a district judge they would be pleading guilty.

They are believed to have committed the offences to get hold of foreign workers so as to hire them out to other firms at a profit.

Wong Seng Kiong, 57, of Guo Tai Mei Trading, had the most number of charges.
