A DELIVERYMAN who poured hot water on a colleague after being provoked was sentenced to 12 weeks' jail on Wednesday.

Kwok Yok Kiong, 48, admitted to pouring hot water over the head and body of Mr Lim Hee Nguang, 47, at a hardware company at Penhas Road in Kallang on Sept 4 last year.

The court heard that Mr Lim was at the office pantry that morning when Kwok caused some boiling water to splatter onto Mr Lim's right forearm while filling his container.
