Wed, Jul 01, 2009
The Straits Times

Two laptops were stolen in separate break-ins earlier this week.

In the first incident, an office director, 41, returned after the weekend on Monday morning to find his $3,000 laptop missing from a table. Checks revealed that the windows at the front and back of the Ayer Rajah Crescent office had been tampered with, and one was found slightly ajar.

In the second case, a 27-year-old property agent found the front passenger window of her car smashed on Tuesday afternoon, after parking it at Block 296C in Queen's Street to visit a temple. A laptop worth $1,300 was missing from the passenger seat.
