MARANG, Malaysia: A disabled and elderly man took advantage of a young woman's pity to outrage her modesty at a textile shop in Bukit Payong, Marang.

The 55-year-old man, who had limped into the shop, fondled the 23-year-old victim's buttocks, thighs and even attempted to touch her private parts.

State Deputy CID chief Superintendent K. Manoharan said the suspect had entered the outlet on the pretext of soliciting for donations at 5.30pm on Wednesday.

He said the victim, who felt pity on seeing the suspect, decided to donate RM5 ($2.06).

However, after receiving the money, the man refused to leave and instead asked the victim to sit beside him before outraging her modesty.
