A FULL-TIME national serviceman was fined $8,000 on Wednesday for attempted sex with a 12-year-old girl.
Fong Kok Loong, 21, admitted to the offence at his Hougang Street 11 home in January last year.
A Community Court heard that the girl, now 14, came to know Fong through Friendster, a social networking site, in December 2007.
